Freshly back from the 8th Shanghai Biennale, The Gate is back in Brussels, as part of the Corps/Machine seminar organised by the École de Recherche Graphique.

The Gate is installed on Odyssey, an island in Second Life dedicated to art and performance.

To perform from The Gate in Second Life with the visitors of the Shanghai Biennale:
1. Create a free account in Second Life (http://secondlife.com/join)
2. Download the software (http://secondlife.com/download) and follow the installation instructions.
3. Use this SLurl to teleport to Odyssey: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Odyssey/123/37/25 or simply search for "Odyssey" in Places.
The Gate is installed on the bank, next to the teleport hub.
The Gate in Brussels!
The Gate is invited by the École de Recherche Graphique to its yearly seminar. The title of the 2011 edition is BODY/MACHINE (Corps/Machine), as it will tackle the way machines influence the perception of our own bodies, identity and relation with the world.
Three busy days that bring together theorical or scientific analysis, artists opinions, performances, concerts, films, videos...
Corps/Machine is a proposition of Eric Angenot.
