Residencies
IMAL is a laboratory and a workplace for artists in residence. Two types of residency are proposed: Research&Experimentation and Production residency. The first one can be considered as a pre-production phase leading to a prototype or alpha version of a new work, to be presented at a restricted public (mostly professonals), in a format to be defined. The Production residency should lead to some public event, e.g. an exhibition or a performance.

In the context of Transmediale festival in Berlin, Wallonia Brussels International organises an exhibition showing pieces by 3 Brussels-based artists: Felix Luque, Julien Maire and LAb[au].
iMAL is very happy to be associated with this event as the co-producers of Julien's new work Composite as well as Felix's installations D.W.I. and Memory Lane.
