07/11/17: Human/Machine, in collaboration with Reason and Engage (VUB)

On Tuesday 7th of November 2017 iMAL is co-organising an evening on the relation between human and machine, together with Redelijk Eigenzinnig / Reason and Engage (VUB). Redelijk Eigenzinnig / Reason and Engage is an interdisciplinary course for students and a series of lectures and activities open to all. This year's edition explores scopes and impact of new technologies.

The event starts at 18:00 with a lecture by Sophie Wennerscheid & Bram Vanderborght on 'The science & fiction of human/robot relationships', followed at 20:00 by a selection of artistic works on Human/Machine interactions: Impersonate by Romain Marula and Ivan Murit, High Tech Dogs by Lucas Lejeune and work in progress by Brian den Hartog. Experiences & opinions will then be exchanged and debated with the artists.

The lecture, presentation and debate will be in English. The entrance is free.
