Artistes
Christoph De Boeck (°1972)
Christoph De Boeck approaches sound as a visual and tactile medium. His installations deal with the tangible presence of sonic energy, vibration and the transformation of space through sound. The spatial organization of sound sources, the choice of materials in media and the method for sound transmission are all part of De Boeck's permanent research into how sound relates to an environment and how humans are affected by that environment.

Aernoudt Jacobs (°1968)
Aernoudt Jacobs' work is both phenomenological and empirical. It originates from acoustic and technological research and investigates how sounds still can yield sonic processes which will trigger the perceptive scope of the observer. Jacobs' installations focus on a central question: how can the complexity, richness and stratification of our direct, daily environment be translated into something that can really be experienced?

Jeroen Uyttendaele (°1981)
A central theme in Jeroen’s work is the tangibility and visualization of primal technological principals within a musical framework. This translates itself through the development of audiovisual instruments, installations and sound compositions. The possibilities of his self designed media are the main ingredients for compositions in time and space.
The enormous quantity of information which is daily absorbed often doesn't leave its digital module. Content is housed within slick housings, lcd-screens or tiny speakers. Through electronic music, instruments and installations Jeroen searches for a form that is experienced as "real". A language that hides as little as possible but reveals and exploits all internal elements in a non-hierarchical manner. The nature of the material itself becomes thus a substantial part in the meaning of his work.

Jeroen Vandesande (°1986)
Jeroen Vandesande takes a highly explorative approach to sound and composition. His works
combine avant-garde compositional methods such as game theory and chance operations with
contemporary DIY techniques like no-input mixing, chaotic feedback systems and DIY electronics.
Through musical performance Vandesande reflects on the the conditions of our communication, on the possibility of harmony and the loss of it. He therefore focuses on the game that controls human communication. He experiments with the roles and the game between composer, performer and audience, also in the visual reflection of it.

Francisco López (°1964)
Francisco López is internationally recognized as one of the major figures in sound art and the experimental music scene. Over the past 30 years he has developed an astonishing sonic universe, absolutely personal and iconoclastic, based on a profound listening of the world. Destroying boundaries between industrial sounds and wilderness sound environments, shifting with passion from the limits of perception to the most dreadful abyss of sonic power, proposing a blind, profound and transcendental listening, freed from the imperatives of knowledge and open to sensory and spiritual expansion.
