Homage to Alain géronneZ

Alain, the Brussels-based artist, passed away in November 2015. He was an eclectic artist, curious and tireless, playing with words, sounds and images. He was, in his own way, a digital multimedia artist. He also was a founding member of iMAL.

The January 2016 issue of the art magazine Flux-News published several articles as a first homage, one of them is written by iMAL director, Yves Bernard.

On this occasion, Yves is publishing online a series of artworks by Alain that were produced with Magic Media and iMAL: video captures of cd-rom navigation (Cornélien&Kafkaïen, Sounding Off about Sound), performances... more on YouTube.

Alain was a lover of the Citroën DS (DS devenir sculpture). In 2010, he eventually managed to exhibit his own DS in the public space of Brussels. By a curious chance, Google Street View cameras captured this event and it can still be seen here.
