Arts/Sciences #18: RRI-ICT Forum
9 November - 10 November 2015
Responsible Research & Innovation
Between 2015 and 2017 iMAL is participating to the RRI-ICT Forum project as one of its seven partners. This European project was launched on January 2015 for a period of 3 years and aims to analyse, support and promote the contribution of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), and the Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) approach in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) research and innovation under Horizon 2020 (H2020), the European Union programme for research and innovation.
In the framework of RRI-ICT Forum, iMAL organises a programme featuring an evening of performances and an afternoon of debates, gathering scientists, engineers and artists to discuss responsible ICT research and R&D topics where there is a clear need of some responsability to guarantee a positive societal usage. AI & robotics, deep learning, big data and data mining are certainly critical areas.
