AntiDataMining workshop

by RYbN

The ADM workshop provides an introduction to PURE DATA, an opensource visual programming environment (OOP). Created by Miller Puckett, originally dedicated to sound, PURE DATA is a free alternative to MAX/MSP. The software allows many opportunities in terms of audio, video, interaction, but also in terms of exchanges on all types of networks.

This workshop addresses issues related to the flux aesthetics: to recover data on the web to feed an installation; to divert the flow of data to extract a plastic translation, to use a set of interconnected softwares, to communicate with many applications, to centralize data and create graphical matrixes, to build a complex system based on the network and its fluctuating data.
